Crowley has launched its fourth Avance Class vessel, Torogoz, marking the beginning of its maiden commercial voyage from Port Everglades, Florida. The ship is designed to deliver cargo between the U.S. and Central American countries, including El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. With a capacity of 1,400 TEUs, including 300 refrigerated containers, Torogoz is equipped to transport a variety of goods such as apparel, fresh produce, food products, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. The vessel is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), which reduces environmental impact. This launch completes Crowley's introduction of its Avance Class fleet, aimed at providing efficient logistics solutions in Central America.
