Seabound has received a $1.48 million grant from the UK Government's Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition to develop carbon and emissions capture technology at the Port of Southampton. The project involves integrating Seabound's modular carbon capture units with STAX Engineering's emissions capture system. This combined solution aims to capture carbon dioxide and other pollutants directly from ships while docked, without requiring retrofits.
