Acura Unveils RSX Prototype as Electric Crossover at Monterey Car Week

Acura has introduced the RSX Prototype, marking the return of the RSX nameplate as an electric crossover with a fastback roof. This new model is set to debut during Monterey Car Week and previews an upcoming electric vehicle (EV) from Acura. Unlike the ZDX, which utilizes GM's Ultium electric-car architecture, the RSX is built on Honda's new EV platform, which was first seen with the Honda 0 Series concepts. The RSX will be manufactured in Marysville, Ohio, alongside the gas-powered Integra. The prototype features dual-motor all-wheel drive, double wishbone front suspension, Brembo brakes, and 21-inch wheels. It will also be the first Honda product to use the new ASIMO OS infotainment system, capable of over-the-air updates. The RSX includes a Tesla-style North American Charging Standard (NACS) port and vehicle-to-load capabilities.
