Pacsun has launched a new apparel collection in collaboration with McDonald's, inspired by the 1970s. The Pacsun x McDonaldland collection features both men's and women's clothing and accessories, including snapback and bucket hats, high socks, license plate frames, and doormats. These items are themed with motifs and characters from the McDonaldland fantasy world, such as Ronald McDonald, Grimace, and the Hamburglar. Richard Cox, Chief Merchandising Officer at Pacsun, stated that the collaboration taps into a shared history of nostalgia and joy, reimagined through fashion. The women's collection offers inclusive sizes from XXS to XXL, priced between $10 and $80, and includes sweat sets, hoodies, pants, mini shorts, baby tees, and accessories like barrettes and scrunchies. The men's collection features designs reminiscent of vintage travel merchandise and landmark souvenirs from fictional McDonaldland destinations. Pacsun has promoted the collection through in-person events at ThriftCon, a special feature in the McDonald's loyalty program, and an event at the Pacsun Soho store in NYC. The collection is available online and in Pacsun stores nationwide.
