What's Happening?
MGallery, part of Accor, is set to open a new hotel in the Valmorel ski resort in the French Alps by 2027. This will be MGallery's first mountain location, led by CLR Hotels, a subsidiary of the CGR Group. The architectural design is assigned to Bertrand Pourrier of ABP Architectes, known for sustainable architecture. The project aims for RE2020 standards and BREEAM certification, using bio-sourced and local materials. The hotel will feature 82 rooms, direct ski slope access, and amenities like a spa, restaurants, and a speakeasy, integrating Savoyard heritage elements.
