What's Happening?
Germany-based Rheinmetall has been awarded a seven-year service contract by the Czech Republic Ministry of Defence for the maintenance of Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks and Bergepanzer 3 Büffel armoured recovery vehicles. The contract, valued at up to €250 million ($292 million), includes a comprehensive range of services such as spare parts supply, customer service support, factory and assembly repairs, training services, technical and logistical support, interim infrastructure provision, and project management.
