One Killed, Three Injured As Fire Breaks Out At Chawl In Mumbai's Cuffe Parade Area

least one person died and three got injured in a fire that broke out at a chawl in Cuffe Parade area of Mumbai on Monday morning. The fire was brought under control at around 4:30 AM this morning, said BMC officials.

As per information, the fire claimed the life of 15-year-old Yash Vitthal Khot, who was declared dead at St George’s Hospital. Three others were injured and admitted for treatment.

Officials reported that the blaze, which covered roughly a 10×10 feet area on the first floor, originated from electric wiring, installations, three electric vehicle batteries, and household items, before being brought under control.
