Actor and former RJ Mahvash, popularly known as RJ Mahvash, is gearing up for the release of her upcoming web series Satrangi: Badle Ka Khel. The show, which also stars Anshuman Pushkar and Kumud Mishra, is set to premiere on ZEE5 on May 22, 2026.
Ahead of the release, Mahvash spoke to Pinkvilla about her friendship with Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia and other content creators. She also opened up about why she continues to stand by them despite the controversies surrounding them.
RJ Mahvash To Appear In India’s Got Latent Season 2?
When asked if audiences could see her in India’s Got Latent Season 2, RJ Mahvash confirmed that Samay Raina had invited her to attend the next season of his comedy talent show.
She said, “When we were shooting for
a show, Samay asked me if I would attend the next season of his comedy talent show. And I told him I would definitely come for the show.”
Mahvash also shared that she did not know Samay personally during his difficult phase and was watching the controversy unfold from the outside. She added, “I was watching it from third spectacle. I had spoken to Ranveer.”
RJ Mahvash On Supporting Ranveer Allahbadia And Other Creators
Mahvash recalled how several content creators had supported her during the trailer launch of her production’s first film, Section 108, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Regina Cassandra.
She said, “I wasn’t knowing them on personal level. For me, Ranveer, Ashish and all them were big people. So I called them for the trailer launch and they all showed up. And so for me, that is real friendship.”
She further said that while she agrees mistakes were made, she believes people should not be endlessly targeted for them.
Mahvash added, “However wrong they will be, I will still support them. I agree that they were wrong, but humans do make mistakes. So let’s not roast them further. Since I know them as humans and they are great guys. They never cross their line and disrespect others.”
RJ Mahvash’s Work Front
On the work front, RJ Mahvash will next be seen in Satrangi: Badle Ka Khel, which premieres on ZEE5 on May 22. The series also features Anshuman Pushkar and Kumud Mishra in key roles.
Apart from this, Mahvash is also working on Remo D’Souza’s romantic comedy Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain.
