The news of her passing has left the entire nation in shock, with heartfelt tributes pouring in from the film and music fraternity, as fans and celebrities alike mourn the loss of a truly irreplaceable voice that shaped generations. Her last public appearance in March has now become a bittersweet final memory for those who admired her. She was seen gracing Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar’s wedding in Mumbai.

Asha Bhosle’s last public appearance was in March 2026

In March, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, got married to his longtime ladylove, Saaniya Chandhok.

Several big celebs were seen gracing the grand event. Legendary singer Asha Bhosle also attended the festivities to shower blessings and love on Arjun and Saaniya. The paparazzi shared photos and videos of the singer arriving at a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai on March 5, 2026, held at The St. Regis Mumbai. Draped in an elegant white saree, Asha Ji exuded grace as she briefly paused at the entrance for the paps. Asha Bhosle was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital after she experienced cardiac and respiratory issues. The same was confirmed by her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle on Twitter. She wrote, “My grandmother, Asha Bhosle due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy. Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively.”

On Sunday morning, April 12, her son Anand Bhosle confirmed her demise. Her mortal remains will be kept at her residence tomorrow (April 13) from 11 am to 3 pm for the public to pay their respects, followed by her last rites at Shivaji Park at 4 pm.
