Anupam Kher has once again left fans excited after unveiling the first poster of his upcoming film Flicker. The veteran actor shared the striking poster on social media and revealed that the project marks the 551st film of his acting career. He promised his fans that he would keep them updated about the details of the film.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Anupam Kher shared the poster which shows him like a dancer and announced the film, “FLICKER! Film number 551. And yet… it feels like the first step again. I have always believed that if you don’t challenge yourself… you slowly start repeating yourself. So I chose the harder road. To reinvent… not just the actor in me… but the person I am becoming. To step into uncertainty. To make it difficult.

Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 Release Date Announced
Meanwhile, Anupam Kher will soon be seen in Khosla Ka Ghosla 2. The film will be released in theatres on August 28, 2026, which coincides with Raksha Bandhan. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the announcement on social media, posting the film’s new poster on X. The poster indicated the highly anticipated theatrical release date.
Sharing the update, Taran Adarsh wrote, “CULT CLASSIC RETURNS – KHOSLA KA GHOSLA 2 TO RELEASE ON 28 AUG 2026. The much-loved cult classic film #KhoslaKaGhosla is officially making a comeback with its sequel, #KhoslaKaGhosla2, which arrives in cinemas on 28 Aug 2026 [#RakshaBandhan]. Directed by Prashant Bhagia, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath and Raj Hiremath.”
The original Khosla Ka Ghosla, released in 2006, became one of Bollywood’s most popular comedies. Dibakar Banerjee directed the film, which tells the story of a middle-class Delhi family battling to recapture their land from a crafty property broker. Anupam Kher, Vinay Pathak, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, and Tara Sharma delivered noteworthy performances in the film, which combined humour with relevant subjects such as property scams and family issues. The film has gained a cult following over the years due to its sharp script and colourful characters, particularly Boman Irani’s legendary performance as the deceitful property broker Khurana.
