In the match underway at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, GT skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, his decision backfired as RCB rode on captain Rajat Patidar’s unbeaten 93-run knock off just 33 balls to post a massive total of 254/5 in 20 overs.

For Gujarat Titans, Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder picked up two wickets each, while Prasidh Krishna dismissed Devdutt Padikkal.
The two wickets by Holder and one by Prasidh on Tuesday helped both bowlers extend their wicket tally to 15 each in IPL 2026. As a result, five GT bowlers have now taken
at least 15 wickets in the ongoing season, making Gujarat Titans only the second team in IPL history after Kolkata Knight Riders to have five bowlers with 15 or more wickets in a single edition.

Out of the 31 wickets taken by GT bowlers in the powerplay in IPL 2026, Rabada alone has claimed 18. He now holds the record for the most wickets in the powerplay in a single IPL season.
