The couple’s love story began on the set of a music video, Nehu Da Vyah, in 2020, and the singer felt a spark immediately after meeting the former contestant on the reality show Rising Star. Following a short courtship, Rohanpreet proposed marriage to Neha over the phone. After initially dismissing it, she accepted the proposal when he arrived in Chandigarh the next day to speak with her mother. The same year, they went “Instagram official” with their relationship.
In October the same year, they got married in a Gurdwara ceremony in Delhi, followed by a traditional Hindu event that evening. Years after their wedding, in June 2023, rumours of the couple’s divorce began gaining major traction after Neha celebrated her 35th birthday without Rohanpreet.
