Dhurandhar 2 Soon? Ranveer Singh's Film To Be Released In Two Parts: Report

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is one of the most-awaited films. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the movie, a new report has now claimed that it might be released in two parts. Although there is no official

announcement as of yet, reportedly, the makers plan to make Dhurandhar a two-part saga, with part two releasing in the first half of 2026.

“There have been reports that Dhurandhar is a two-part saga. Hence, the film, which will be released on December 5, will be the first installment. It’ll end at a decisive point and the story will then continue in the second part,” a source close to the film told Bollywood Hungama.

“It is said that director Aditya Dhar has shot extensively and the film has shaped up really well. But since it’s very lengthy, they have toyed with the idea of breaking it into 2 parts. If this is the plan, then Dhurandhar’s part 2 will arrive next year, preferably in the first half,” the insider added.

Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and others, is based on true events. Even though details about the film’s plot are not known as of now, it is speculated that Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of an undercover spy in the movie. Reportedly, the film will present the bravery of India’s special agents in Pakistan.

Earlier today, Ranveer Singh also took to his Instagram account to share Akshaye Khanna’s first look from Dhurandhar. The actor looks intense and menacing, sporting a blue shirt with blood splattered across his face. In his caption, Ranveer called Akshaye the ‘apex predator’, giving a hint about his character, and revealed that the trailer for Dhurandhar will be released tomorrow, i.e., on Tuesday, November 18.

Dhurandhar is written and directed by Aditya Dhar. The film will hit the big screens on December 5, 2025.
