Diljit Dosanjh kicked off his Aura India Tour 2026 on October 30 as he performed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Following his concert, the actor and Punjabi singer came live on Instagram and revealed that he wished to hold a concert in Bihar but couldn’t because the authorities asked him to take responsibility for crowd management.
Addressing his fans during a recent Insta Live, Diljit Dosanjh shared, “We tried to go to Bihar; we had attempted to go to Bihar last time as well. But they said it was difficult to manage the crowd. They asked if we would take responsibility for it. I said that we couldn’t; they would have to take that responsibility. Since they didn’t, we couldn’t go.”
“You see, it’s difficult to manage the crowd. It’s
not just a small gathering; it’s a massive crowd. I had to consider the logistics; it’s like organising an event in Delhi,” said Diljit while explaining how crowd management isn’t an easy responsibility.
About Diljit Dosanjh’s Delhi Concert
The singer claimed that there had been repeated attempts to stop his Delhi show on Friday. Diljit said, “I even had a direct word with God about this! I spoke to Him over the phone. I told Him, ‘There’s a show coming up…’ Some people really tried hard to make sure the show wouldn’t happen!”
Referring to the weather in Delhi, he also prayed for clear skies for the next few days. “May God hold back the rain for three to four hours. Love my fans! I don’t bother responding to what many people say because I don’t consider them worth my time. Don’t you worry, we’re going to absolutely crush it,” he said.
For the unversed, the Delhi Police had previously denied permission for the Friday show, citing security reasons amid the festive season. This resulted in public disappointment, as fans had already purchased tickets. BookMyShow Live then submitted additional security plans for traffic management and crowd control to the police. Following this, the concert finally took place in the national capital.
