Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. His passing has left a void in the industry. Now, after the veteran actor’s demise, his close friend Shatrughan Sinha has taken to his X
account and shared a series of throwback pictures and spoke about meeting his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, after the actor’s demise.
Taking to his X account, Sinha wrote, “On my return from Delhi, I went with a very heavy, sorrowful heart to our dearest family friend, our elder brother’s @aapkadharam home. It was a heart-touching meeting with his wonderful sons @iamsunnydeol, Bobby Deol @thedeol, his attractive, charming wife Tanya, their handsome sons Dharam and especially Aryaman. It was great meeting them all and remembering Dharmji for the remarkable person he was and will live forever for the many lives he touched. Prayed for their peace & strength in these sorrowful times. 🕉️ Shanti.”

Shatrughan Sinha on Dharmendra’s demise
Shatrughan Sinha took a trip down memory lane. Taking to X, the actor shared, “Heartbroken, pained & deeply saddened by the passing away of our dearest family friend, our elder brother, people’s hero, @aapkadharam.” He continued, “The most loved son of the soil, pride of Punjab/Maharashtra, a ‘Bharat Ratna’ in the true sense, down-to-earth, kind & a humble human being. He will be remembered forever for his great contributions to the film industry/cinema.”
Shatrughan Sinha further added, “A personality in totality, an era of ‘He-Man/Star’, has gone. My first ‘Hero’ & people’s ‘Hero’ in the film industry is no more. It is an irreparable & irreplaceable loss to all of us & the entire film industry. Strength to the family, friends, well-wishers & fans in these traumatic times. Om Shanti.”
Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra shared a strong bond and worked together in various films, including Aag Hi Aag, Zalzala, Hum Se Na Takrana, Blackmail, Laha, and others.
About Dharmendra’s demise
Dharmendra passed away on November 24. The actor had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai due to health complications. Although he was discharged, reports claimed that he had been placed on a ventilator following breathing difficulties. Despite showing signs of improvement, the legendary actor passed away on November 24. His last rites were also held on the same day and were attended by several Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan.
