Shakti Anand Addresses The Rumours of Him
Quitting KSBKBT2
In an interview with Telly Talk India, Shakti clarified that quitting Kyunki Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 was never an option for him. He shared that he has been in constant, open discussions with the creative team right from the start.
Shakti said, “Nahi nahi chhoda nahi hai, main bilkul matlab is cheez ko chhodne mein vishwas nahi rakhta kyunki abhi jo meri unke creative se baat yahi wali hui hai ki abhi jaise yeh naya show abhi shuru hua hai. So, probably ho sakta hai ki pehle kuch dinon mein wahan par thodi cheezon ko avoid kiya jaaye, mere bina wahan pe show ho.”
The actor added that since Mahadev & Sons is still in its early stages, some initial adjustments are only expected. He assured that once the show settles, things will run smoothly and he will also be seen in KSBKBT2 again.
He added, “Lekin once this is going to be set up, yahan pe sab cheezein aa jaati hain. Bank ban jaata hai. Sab cheezein streamline ho jaati hain. Everything falls into place kyunki naya-naya show hai. Everything is raw right now kyunki time zyada lag raha hai. Sabke characters ko place karne mein time lag raha hai.”
Shakti Anand Thanks Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji and KSBKBT2 Team
Shakti went on to add that the production of KSBKBT2 has been very supportive regarding his involvement in Mahadev & Sons. “Leap aa chuka hai wahan par, and I am seeing support from their part, from the creative, from the entire production house. Unhone bilkul cheezon ko allow kiya,” he said.
Explaining why leaving the Ekta Kapoor show would be unwise, the actor said, “chhodna toh bahut badi bewakoofi hogi aur is tarah ki opportunity milti nahi hai.” Ending on a note of gratitude, Shakti Anand thanked Balaji Telefilms and the creative team for their constant support and for allowing him the flexibility to manage both projects.
