Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with Rohan Thakkar soon. Her pre-wedding festivities have begun, and social media is flooded with photos from her mehendi ceremony which took place recently. Now, Anshula has also shared photos from the Chooda ceremony, an important pre-wedding ritual in the Punjabi culture. The pictures show the bride-to-be dropping kaleeras on her brother Arjun Kapoor, and cousin Shanaya Kapoor. Another photo shows Anshula and Arjun sharing an emotional moment during the festivities.
Anshula Kapoor Shares Photos From Chooda Ceremony
For her chooda ceremony, Anshula Kapoor opted for a stunning green-and-gold ethnic ensemble by Punit Balana. The opening photo features the bride-to-be beaming alongside her father Boney Kapoor, brother Arjun Kapoor, and sisters
Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. She also proudly showed off her custom-made golden kaleeras. One picture that has especially caught fans’ attention shows Arjun Kapoor and cousin Shanaya Kapoor smiling as they flaunt the kaleeras that fell on them during the traditional ceremony.
Another photo shows Anshula crying as she hugged her brother Arjun Kapoor during the chooda ceremony. “Chooda. Kalire. Blessings. The moment it all started to feel real. Each kalira has a blessing embossed onto it – words like love, joy, and magic. As my family and closest friends tied them onto my wrists, they were wishing those blessings upon me,” wrote Anshula Kapoor.
“And that’s my favourite part of this tradition: when a kalira falls on someone, it’s my turn to wish those very same blessings for them. A beautiful reminder that love is meant to be shared and passed on,” she further added.

Meanwhile, earlier today, Anshula shared photos from the mehendi ceremony and thanked her sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor for surprising her by arranging the function. “The colours, the chaos, the love, and a heart completely full @janhvikapoor and @khushikapoor, thank you for giving me a mehendi beyond what I could have dreamed of! Every thoughtful touch, every beautiful corner, every moment reflected the love and care you poured into making it so special. The greatest gift was that I could simply be present, soak it all in, and feel completely celebrated because you had taken care of absolutely everything. Thank you for giving me one of the happiest days of my life. I love you both endlessly,” she wrote.
Anshula Kapoor is the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and his late first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. She is the younger sister of actor Arjun Kapoor.
Over the years, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, daughters of Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi, have shared a close bond with both Anshula and Arjun. The siblings are often seen coming together for family milestones and celebrations.
