Senior men’s selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar will address media persons in Dubai today, where he will announce India’s squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against the West Indies. The two-match Test series between India and the West Indies will kick off on October 2 in Ahmedabad, and Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium will host the second red-ball match from October 10 to 14.India last played a Test match against England in the first week of August 2025 at The Oval and won that fixture by six runs.
The majority of the players that featured in the five-match away series against England are set to retain their place in the squad, but there are question marks over
the inclusion of Karun Nair, Shardul Thakur and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
