The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CTET Answer Key 2026 shortly on the official website ctet.nic.in. Once released, candidates who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be able to check the provisional answer key online.
The CTET examination was conducted on February 7 and 8, 2026, in two shifts on both days. The first shift was held from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates will be able to download the provisional key within the time period mentioned in the public notice. The answer key is likely to remain available for two to three days, during which candidates can challenge any answer if they are not satisfied.
How To Download CTET Answer Key 2026?
Step 1: Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “CTET Answer Key 2026” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required login details and submit.
Step 4: The answer key will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a printout for future reference.

To raise objections, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question as processing charges. Only challenges submitted online and accompanied by payment within the stipulated period will be considered. Challenges sent without payment or through any other mode will not be accepted.
After reviewing the objections, subject experts will examine all the challenges and prepare the final answer key. The CTET result will be declared on the basis of this final answer key.
