Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh have expressed their grief after the death of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle. They took to their social media to share photos with her and paid tributes to the ‘Queen of Indian playback singing’. Hrithik recalled how Asha Bhosle was always looking after her best interest, while the ‘Dhurandhar 2’ star called her ‘irreplaceable’. Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 at the age of 92, leaving a huge void in the world of Indian music.
Hrithik Roshan Pays Tribute To Asha Bhosle
Hrithik Roshan took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a throwback photo in which he is seen posing with the iconic singer. “Today, India lost a gem. Asha ji was not only a legend who I had the good fortune of interacting with, but she was also
a constant quiet presence in my life, always looking after my best interest, a reassuring and grounding force and the giver of the warmest hugs,” he wrote.

He further added, “I will miss you deeply Asha ji. Thank you for the priceless memories and your timeless songs. You are and will always be the Queen of Indian playback singing. My heartfelt condolences to the Bhosle family. Rest in peace Asha ji.”
Ranveer Singh Mourns Asha Bhosle’s Demise
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram stories to share a photo with the legendary singer. “Irreplaceable, incomparable. #ashabhosle,” he simply wrote, expressing his grief.
Many other celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and others paid emotional tributes, remembering Asha Bhosle.
Asha Bhosle Death
Asha Bhosle passed away in Mumbai on Sunday at the age of 92, a day after being hospitalised with a chest infection and fatigue. She was admitted in critical condition and died due to multi-organ failure despite medical efforts.
Her funeral will take place on Monday (April 13), with the public allowed to pay their respects at her residence in the morning, followed by last rites at Shivaji Park in the evening.
