Premier League giants Manchester United registered a 3-0 win over cross-town rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday in the Manchester Derby as Pep Guardiola’s men dropped points in the title race.
Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Mason Mount netted for the Red Devils to give interim manager and former midfielder Michael Carrick yet another memorable day at OT.

Mbeumo, who was played through on goal by Bruno Fernandes on the overturn in the 68th minute of the game, made no mistake in depositing the ball into the back of the net past City custodian Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Dorgu got on the end of a Matheus Cunha cross in the 76th minute to
give United the insurance goal as he doubled the hosts lead over the noisy neighbours.
Diallo did exceptionally well to hold off the rushing Nathan Ake as he cut in from the left before hammering the post with a right-footed effort before Mason Mount, who had just come off the bench to put the ball into a gaping net, which was once again disallowed for offside with Cunha straying past the last defender in the build up.
Earlier in the day, Amad Diallo and Fernandes saw their goals disallowed for offside as the linesman snipped the joy of Michael Carrick’s Red Devils.
