Containe Technologies' Rs 21-cr rights issue to close on Sep 25

New Delhi, Sep 7 (PTI) Containe Technologies has launched a rights issue to raise Rs 20.98 crore, with the offer set to close on September 25.

The company is offering equity shares at Rs 15 apiece in a 1:2 ratio, entitling eligible shareholders to one new share for every two shares held.

The issue opened on August 31, and will conclude on September 25, according to a company statement.

Proceeds from the issue will be used for working capital requirements, adjustment of unsecured promoter loans and general corporate purposes.

The new shares are scheduled to be listed on the BSE SME platform on September 30, following allotment on September 28.

Exchange (NSE) on Monday cautioned investors against a person named “Govind Malkhan”, allegedly offering assured returns, account handling and dabba trading services through an entity called “Wealth Trade”.

NSE said the person, or entity, is not registered with the exchange and advised investors not to subscribe to such schemes or trade on illegal platforms, the stock exchange said in a statement.

A police complaint has also been lodged in this regard, it added.

Under Sebi’s Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (SCRA) regulations, dabba trading is prohibited by law and can attract imprisonment of up to 10 years or a fine of up to Rs 25 crore, or both.
