'Aarav Aaj Bhi ₹4500 Ki Naukri Kar Raha Hai': Akshay Kumar Says His Son Doesn't Want To Join Films

Akshay Kumar is currently enjoying love and appreciation coming his way for his recently released film, Bhoot Bangla. He reunited with Priyadarshan for the horror-comedy after almost 14 years. Amid the promotions recently, Akshay spoke about his son Aarav, who often keeps making heads turn in the city. His and Twinkle Khanna’s son has become the talk of the town due to his good looks and striking personality. Recently, Akshay revealed that Aarav has no interest in films and is instead pursuing a career in fashion.

During a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Akshay Kumar said that his son is just like him, in terms of disciplined routine and fitness. He said, “We are both very alike. He is into health, and so am I. He is a tall boy and very focused.

He loves working. But he doesn’t want to join films. He doesn’t have any such plan. He wants to be in fashion.”

Further, the proud father revealed that Aarav is making his career in fashion, and he is still working a Rs 4500 job even today. Khiladi Kumar added, “Voh bechara aaj bhi ₹4500 ki naukri kar raha hai. Acchi baat hai, kyun nahi? (He’s still working a ₹4500 job even today. It’s a good thing, why not?) He is going to villages and learning fashion from there, different kinds of prints and everything. I don’t lecture him much, but I have told him not to harm anyone.”

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were blessed with Aarav in 2002. At the age of 15, he moved abroad to pursue higher studies and is currently studying at a university in London. Whenever he is in town, Aarav makes a fashionable appearance with his cousin Naomika Saran, who will soon be making her acting debut with a Maddock film. On the other hand, the couple welcomed their second child, Nitara, in 2012.

Meanwhile, Akshay’s Bhooth Bangla also stars Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal in important roles. The film has taken a strong opening on its first day. With positive word of mouth, it is expected to witness an upward trend over the weekend.
