For the occasion, the couple twinned in red traditional ensembles. Lin Laishram exuded festive elegance in a red silk saree, while Randeep Hooda complemented his look in a matching red kurta.
In one picture, the duo is seen posing for a selfie, with Lin holding a Karwa Chauth thali in her hand. Another shot captures
her performing the ritual with a decorative sieve, gazing at her husband with love-filled eyes.
However, the picture that truly stole hearts was the last one, where Randeep gently touches Lin’s cheek and fixes her hair as she looks at him through the sieve.
The caption read, “Together in every phase from sunrise to moonrise. Happy Karwa Chauth.”

Lin Laishram On Observing Karwa Chauth Fast for Randeep Hooda
In an interview with Money Control, Lin Laishram opened up about observing Karwa Chauth fast. She shared, “Ever since we got married, I have kept it.” Talking about her husband observing fasting, she shared, “He’s always fasting anyway — he can go 20 to 24 hours without eating because of his intermittent fasting routine. For him, fasting is not a big deal; for me, it gets a little taxing. But I enjoy the festivities, the puris, the kheer — and the feeling of doing something for your partner out of love.”
For Lin, who hails from Manipur, the concept of Karwa Chauth was initially unfamiliar, but she has now embraced it as a beautiful tradition shared with Randeep. “I don’t see it from any other angle except love,” she added.
Her marriage to Randeep beautifully unites two rich cultures, her Manipuri roots and his North Indian traditions. She said, “I grew up watching a little bit of Bollywood. It’s amazing to see and take part in these traditions. I like doing a little mix and match of all cultures. He always wishes for my family during our Manipuri festivals, and he’s very keen to learn about my culture and people. When we were in Manipur, he wanted to learn more, he even talked about making a movie there someday.”
Randeep and Lin first crossed paths in Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group, Motley, where their bond soon blossomed into love. The couple tied the knot in November 2023 in a traditional Meitei ceremony in Imphal, Manipur.
On the work front, Randeep Hooda will next be seen in the epic war drama Operation Khukri.
