Star Indian spinner Sai Kishore was at his very best while representing Gloucestershire against Derbyshire in County Championship Division Two, as he picked up a five-wicket haul while giving away just six runs on Saturday, September 5.

During Derbyshire’s second innings, Kishore wreaked havoc with the ball, dismissing Harry Came, Matthew Montgomery for a golden duck, Wayne Madsen, Aneurin Donald and Brooke Guest for a two-ball duck.

Kishore finished with five wickets for just six runs in less than eight overs. He finished with figures of 5/20 in 18 overs. Watch the video here:

After opting to bat first, Gloucestershire were bowled out for 237 in the 82nd over, with James Bracey

top-scoring with 113 off 166 balls, including 12 fours.

For Derbyshire, Brett Randell was the pick of the bowlers, returning brilliant figures of 5/41 in less than 18 overs.

In response, Derbyshire posted 278 in the 90th over, with opener Muhammed Naeem top-scoring with 71 off 119 balls, including seven fours and two sixes.

Oliver Price was the standout bowler for Gloucestershire, claiming 6/45 in less than 22 overs, while Kishore returned figures of 2/59 in 23 overs.

In the second innings, Gloucestershire declared on 359/5 after 100 overs, setting Derbyshire a target of 319. Miles Hammond and James Bracey both struck hundreds.

But Derbyshire were bowled out for a paltry 105 in less than 39 overs in the fourth innings, suffering a 213-run loss. Kishore led the bowling attack with outstanding figures of 5/20 from 18 overs, including 12 maidens.

Gloucestershire will next take on Lancashire from Tuesday. But despite the big win, Gloucestershire remained at the bottom of the eight-team table, with just two wins in 11 matches.

Kishore has taken 13 wickets in three matches till now, at an impressive economy of 2.67. Before the County Championship, he was in action in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, where he picked six wickets in five games, at an economy of 7.21.
