India’s teen boy band OutStation has hit a major milestone ahead of its upcoming tour. Following the announcement of The Homecoming Bus tour, the five-member group has garnered over 50,000 fan registrations for its 10-city trek. To mark the moment, the band has now released its new single, Homecoming, from its upcoming debut EP of the same name, along with a deeply personal music video.
OutStation Gets 50,000 Registrations For The Homecoming Bus Tour
The overwhelming response to The Homecoming Bus tour has been driven by OutStation’s fanbase, popularly known as the “Passengers.” Over the past few weeks, fans have been leading a self-driven multi-city poster campaign across India to promote the band’s pre-save links and spread the word about the upcoming
release.
The tour will kick off on June 14 and will cover 10 cities over 14 days. OutStation will travel through Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Jaipur, Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Pune and Mumbai as part of the rolling highway tour.
Signed to Kotecha’s Visva Records, OutStation has already performed before more than 200,000 people across venues. With only two previous independent tracks, Tum Se and Aaj Kal, the band has managed to build a strong following and position itself as one of India’s most closely watched new pop acts.
OutStation Drops New Single Homecoming
The newly released single Homecoming serves as the first glimpse into OutStation’s debut EP, which is scheduled to release worldwide on July 31, 2026. The song is built around themes of longing, comfort and resilience, and reflects the real-life journey of the band members over the past year.
The track draws from the experience of leaving behind families and hometowns to move to Mumbai and chase a career in the music industry. It is dedicated to students, young professionals and anyone who has taken the difficult step of living away from home in pursuit of a dream.
Speaking about the song and tour, OutStation shared, “Homecoming really has been a feeling we all felt in the last one year. It’s so true with everything we’ve gone through and we feel that our fans are going through too. We wanted to celebrate it in the best possible way, and this 10 city road tour on the Homecoming Bus has been a dream we’ve always wanted to do since we came together. We hope to see so many of our fans in the next month and sing it with them!”
Homecoming Music Video Was Shot In Bhuvan Shetty’s Real Hometown
The music video for Homecoming moves away from the usual pop-star gloss and instead tells an intimate, character-led story. It follows band member Bhuvan Shetty from Karnataka and explores the emotional weight of big-city life, including isolation, depression, job scarcity and everyday struggles.
The video contrasts these difficult experiences with the quiet comfort of returning home to family. To keep the emotion authentic, the team shot the video entirely in Bhuvan’s actual hometown of Udupi.
Instead of using elaborate sets or actors, OutStation filmed inside Bhuvan’s real family home and featured his own mother and family members in the video. The result is a raw and personal portrayal of what it means to come back home after being away.
Homecoming and its music video are now available across all major streaming platforms. OutStation’s full debut EP, Homecoming, will release globally on July 31, 2026.
