While some employees were busy enjoying their Diwali goodies, one man, with no Diwali bonus coming his way, decided to take matters into his own hands (of course, in a fun way). What happened next was chaotic yet hilarious and is now viral across social media.

No Diwali Bonus, No Problem

The video, shared on Instagram, opens to an overlay text: “POV: Company ne Diwali Bonus dene se mana kar diya (POV: The company refused to give a Diwali bonus).” The employee first picks up his backpack and carefully checks if anyone is watching. Once he is sure, his office “heist” begins.

He starts small by taking glasses from the water stations. Then, tissue boxes and hand sanitisers make their way into his bag. Soon, he escalates to taking an office chair and even the fire extinguisher.

The caption on the post reads, “Suitcase thodi na maanga tha, soan papdi hi de dete (I didn’t even ask for a suitcase, they only gave me soan papdi).”

The video has racked up over 11 million views, with the comments section overflowing with lol reactions.

A user commented, “Bhai, tubelight le jana bhul gaye (Bro, you forgot to take the tubelight).”

Another commented, “Security guard is waiting outside of your office.”

Some pointed out what else the employee could have taken: “Bro forgot fridge, coffee machine, hand dryer, AC…these are all small things. Bro, grow up!”
