Chunky Panday’s nephew, Ahaan Panday, became an overnight sensation after the release of his debut film Saiyaara. Two months ago, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, hit the headlines when she spoke about him. Replying to a fan who wished her son Yashvardhan Ahuja had starred in Saiyaara, she said that he is doing a better film than that. While her comment was blown out of proportion, she later clarified that she is a fan of Ahaan and is so happy he has made a name for himself. Now, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, was asked about netizens comparing her brother Yashvardhan to Ahaan. Tina urged people not to draw comparisons as both of them have their own journey.

In an interview with Filmygyan, Tina was asked to describe Ahaan Panday.

She called him the ‘new kid on the block’. The interviewer then told her that her brother, Yashvardhan Ahuja, is being compared to Ahaan Panday, with netizens stating that he will give strong competition to the Saiyaara star. Tina Ahuja responded, “Aye haye! Aise mat karo please. (Don’t do this, please). He has his own journey, the other guy has his own journey. Please don’t do that.”

What Sunita Ahuja Said About Ahaan Panday

Two months ago, in a chat with Eat Travel Repeat, Sunita Ahuja reacted to fan comments on social media. One comment read, “Yashvardhan itna handsome hai. Saiyaara mein usse hi hona chahiye tha.” Sunita replied, “I wish. But usse better picture kar raha hai Yash.” She added, “Maine abhi tak dekhi nahi hai. Yash ne do baar dekhi hai. Main dekhungi, mujhe dekhna hai. But abhi 14 tareek ko shayad aa raha hai naa Netflix pe (laughs). But good, good. Best of luck to all the kids who are coming up. And I want ki sab bachhe khoob naam kamaye.”

Later, Sunita Ahuja clarified her remark and told the media, “I didn’t say anything like that. I am very happy that Ahaan Panday has made a name for himself. I never said anything about him. I wish that all the kids of the film industry do well, and Ahaan, I am a big fan of yours, beta. I love you, and I love Yash Raj Films too much. I didn’t say anything because my son is also going to become a hero. Don’t spread these rumours.”

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, will reportedly make his Bollywood debut opposite Nitanshi Goel in a film directed by Sajid Khan.
