The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 witnessed a tense moment when a conversation between contestants took an unexpected turn after Scout made a remark about slapping a girl. Isha Rikhi was quick to intervene and called out the statement, making it clear that such comments were unacceptable.
Isha Tells Scout: ‘This Is Wrong’
It all started after, during a conversation, Scout said, “Mere haath mein koi ladki aise dalegi toh fir thappad marunga.” Hearing this, Isha immediately stopped him and objected to the remark. She firmly told him, “Scout stop… ye thappad wali baat galat hai. This is wrong. This is not done. Tum ye nahi keh sakte ki tum thappad maroge ladki ko.”
Isha further tried to make him understand that there was a clear difference between an accidental incident and responding
with physical aggression. She added, “Aankh mein colour lagna aur thappad marna, ye galat hai.”
Scout, after being called out by Isha, apologised for his statement and said, “I’m sorry for that.” Isha then encouraged him to calm down and put an end to the argument. “Ye achi baat nahi hai, calm down. Bahut ho gaya,” she told him.
Netizens Back Isha
Isha’s direct intervention has now become a talking point among viewers on social media. Several netizens praised her for questioning the statement instead of remaining silent. One viewer wrote, “The only woman giving the correct point while defending was #IshaRikhi. She stood up and questioned the ‘thappad’ remark.”
Another netizen commented, “Equality can be about mindset, talent and opportunities, but physical differences between men and women cannot simply be ignored. Isha understood the point and spoke up.” “Men saying ‘patak dunga’ or talking about hitting women is not something that should be normalised. Credit to Isha for calling it out,” a third user shared.
