Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf’s romantic drama series, Mismatched, has a massive fan following. After the third season premiered on Netflix in December 2024, Mismatched was renewed for a fourth and final season, which is expected to release in 2026. Now, much to fans’ delight, it looks like the shooting for Mismatched season 4 has already begun. Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf were recently spotted filming for the series at Marine Drive, Mumbai, and several behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the shoot have gone viral on social media.
Mismatched Season 4 Shoot Begins?
Several videos and pictures shared by Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli’s fan pages on Instagram show the two actors sitting together at Marine Drive in Mumbai. They are seen shooting for a scene, with cameras rolling
and the crew bustling around them. Meanwhile, onlookers and fans gathered nearby, eager to catch a glimpse of the Mismatched actors. The videos went viral in no time at all, and fans flooded social media with excitement and speculation about Mismatched season 4. Meanwhile, the actors also posted a few BTS pictures, hinting that they have begun shooting for the final season. About Mismatched Season 4
The final season of Mismatched was confirmed in May this year. Netflix India shared a post on Instagram with the caption, “We’ve cried, we’ve screamed, we’ve shipped. Let’s meet for a cold coffee non-date, one last time? Mismatched Season 4 is coming soon, only on Netflix.” Meanwhile, producer Ronnie Screwvala confirmed that Mismatched will end with the fourth season.
“We’re thrilled to bring Mismatched back for one last season. This show has become a true fan favourite, and the love for Dimple and Rishi has grown with every season. It’s been amazing to see how their story has sparked conversations, inspired fan theories, and built such a passionate community. Our collaboration with Netflix has helped shape a series that feels both personal and universal, and we’re excited to return with more of the emotion, chaos, and charm that audiences have come to love,” he said.
In the third season of Mismatched, Rannvijay Singha, Muskkaan Jaaferi, Taaruk Raina, and Ahsaas Channa returned to reprise their roles from the first two instalments. There were also new faces—Lauren Robinson, Garima Yajnik, and Akshat S. The season, which began streaming on Netflix on December 13, 2024, took a huge leap of three years from where season 2 left off. The romantic drama managed to charm the audience with its compelling plot, but mostly for the chemistry between Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf.
