Naga Chaitanya Turns Cheerleader For Wife Sobhita Dhulipala’s Film Cheekatilo

Sobhita Dhulipala and Viswadev Rachakonda’s crime suspense drama, Cheekatilo, is all set to release on Prime Video. The upcoming Telugu original, made under the direction of Sharan Kopishetty, will premiere

on January 23. Other than the original language, Cheekatilo will also be available in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, along with subtitles.

Announcing the same, the OTT giant dropped the first look poster of Sobhita on social media and captioned, “Before the night creeps in, Sandhya arrives, brace for an impact. #CheekatiloOnPrime, New Movie, Jan 23.”

And guess what? Actor and husband Naga Chaitanya couldn’t stop himself from giving a huge shout out to his wife for her upcoming film. He took to his Instagram stories and shared the poster with the caption, “See you on Jan 23rd Sandhya! @sobhitad # cheekatilo. Best wishes to the team @primevideoin.”

Cheekatilo’s Storyline And Cast

Produced by D. Suresh Babu under the banner of Suresh Productions Pvt. Ltd., Cheekatilo stars Sobhita Dhulipala and Viswadev Rachakonda alongside Chaitanya Visalakshmi, Esha Chawla, Jhansi, Aamani and Vadlamani Srinivas.

Set in the heart of Hyderabad, Cheekatilo is an edge-of-the-seat crime thriller that follows Sandhya, a true crime podcaster (played by Sobhita). Her relentless quest for truth leads her to uncover some of the most brutal and darkest secrets of the city. The gripping narrative of the Prime Original movie is written by Chandra Pemmaraju and Sharan Kopishetty.

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s Relationship Timeline

The two got married in a traditional Telugu wedding ceremony on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Post their traditional wedding ceremony, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala made their first public appearance together as they visited the Srisailam Temple in Andhra Pradesh.
