Mohanlal’s much-awaited Drishyam 3 is set to hit theatres on May 21, 2026, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers have unveiled the trailer, bringing back Georgekutty and his family into the shadow of a mystery that refuses to die down.
The third instalment of the acclaimed crime thriller franchise once again places Georgekutty at the centre of suspicion, even as his family attempts to return to a normal life after the events of Drishyam 2.
Drishyam 3 Trailer Revisits Georgekutty’s Haunting Past
The 2-minute and 5-second trailer of Drishyam 3 shows Georgekutty and his family trying to move on. On the surface, life appears to have settled. The world seems to have accepted their innocence, but not everyone around
them is convinced. The trailer suggests that old doubts continue to linger, with certain people still questioning what really happened. This time, the story appears to dig deeper into Georgekutty’s mind, exploring not just his intelligence and survival instinct, but also the emotional burden he has carried while protecting his family.
Mohanlal returns as Georgekutty, bringing back the quiet tension that has defined the franchise. Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil also reprise their roles. Veena Nandakumar joins the cast in a new role as a journalist determined to uncover the truth behind the case.
