Sep 17 (PTI) Indian Consul General in Shanghai Pratik Mathur and consulate officials on Thursday conducted a drive to clean a historic bust of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and visa facilitation centres.
Shanghai is special to Tagore as he visited the city thrice between 1924 and 1929.
“Mathur led team CGI Shanghai in administering the SwachtahiSeva pledge, planting saplings as part of EkPedMaakeNaam near the historic Tagore bust at LuXun park heritage site, the consulate clearing up our visa operations across our VisaFacilitationCenters in Eastern China Region at the launch of the SwachhataHiSeva2026 campaign”, a post on X by the Consulate said.
