‘My Nushki’: Shilpa Shirodkar’s Children’s Day Post For Daughter Is Pure Love

Children’s Day is commemorated every year on November 14, celebrating the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. On this special day, Shilpa Shirodkar shared a note

for her daughter, Anoushka Ranjit, along with some unseen childhood pictures. She wrote, “To the girl who keeps my inner child alive always, my Nushki! You’re the reason my heart smiles every single day. Always be you and shine brighter! Love you loads!”

The first picture showed Shilpa hugging a younger Anouska and they both faced the camera. The second picture was of Anouska as a toddler with her parents. Both Shilpa and her husband, Aparesh Ranjit, held the child close as they posed for the family picture. Anoushka has already established herself as one of the world’s young entrepreneurs. She co-founded Pulse Creative Collective, a student-run organisation based in St Andrews, London, that produces a variety of community-driven events, radio shows, periodicals and other creative pursuits. Previously, she was a Legal Intern at the Greenko Group in Hyderabad, Telangana and an Operations Team Member intern at VFS Global in Dubai.

Shilpa Shirodkar’s Latest Projects

Shilpa has a number of films in the works. She was recently seen in the pan-India horror thriller Jatadhara. The film, which revolves around the enigmatic Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple and its buried mystical knowledge, marked her return to the big screen after a years-long absence. The film, starring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha, combines suspense, mythological elements and intrigue into the story.

She will next appear in the film Shankar – The Revolutionary Man. The series, produced by Modi Studios in collaboration with Rajarshi Bhupendra Modi, is inspired by the life and teachings of Adi Shankaracharya, a celebrated saint and philosopher. Along with Shilpa, the new series stars Abhishek Nigam, Rajesh Shringarpure, Rati Pandey, Farnaz Shetty, Manoj Joshi and others in prominent roles.
