Ahead of the release of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do on May 15, 2026, the team of the film sat down for a fun and candid conversation with Pinkvilla, where they opened up about modern relationship rules, red flags and green flags.
The upcoming film explores the story of a man caught between his wife and two romantic complications. During the interaction, the cast, including Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh, along with director Mudassar Aziz, participated in a playful segment titled Love Aajkal, where they reacted to different relationship situations by raising red or green flags.
Cast Discusses Sharing Phone Passwords With Partners
One of the questions posed to the team was whether partners should share their phone
or social media passwords with each other.
Ayushmann Khurrana said that sharing passwords is not necessary and every couple has their own unsaid understanding. Rakul Preet Singh, however, shared that she would not mind sharing her password with her husband, Jackky Bhagnani, if the need ever arose.
Wamiqa Gabbi had a different view. She said that everyone has a personal life and a phone is an extremely private space. According to her, giving access to passwords would mean sharing everything, which she would not be comfortable doing.
Sara Ali Khan gave a humorous take on the matter. She said that needing to show one’s phone is a red flag, but if her partner refuses to show his phone, that would be an even bigger red flag. Laughing about it, she said, “I should see the phone and should have the right not to show the phone also.”
Director Mudassar Aziz also weighed in, saying that he neither wants access to his partner’s phone nor would he want his partner to access his.
Team Talks About Validation In Relationships
The cast was also asked whether constant validation should continue even after marriage. Rakul Preet Singh called it a red flag, indicating that too much dependence on validation may not be healthy.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, however, felt differently. They said they would be fine offering validation to their partners, especially because actors often receive attention and praise from fans, while their partners may not experience the same if they are not from the film industry.
The conversation stayed light-hearted and chaotic, much like the film’s premise, as the cast discussed how relationship expectations differ from person to person.
