Raina has taken to his social media account and shared a story announcing the guests for the first episode of the show.
The first episode of Samay’s Season 2 will featureAlia Bhatt, Sharvari, and Ashish Solanki, along with the comedian himself and his close friend Balraj Ghai. Apart from this, Samay has recently made a big announcement for all his stand-up lovers. The comedian, while announcing Latent’s premiere on Netflix, also confirmed that he has collaborated with the OTT platform for not one
but two projects, hinting at another project dropping on the platform.
Samay Confirms Guest Panel for Season 2 Episode 1
Comedian Samay Raina announced the return of India’s Got Latent by sharing the YouTube link to the first episode of Season 2 on Saturday. The post featured a thumbnail showing special guests Alia Bhatt and Sharvari enjoying a light-hearted moment on the set. Alia was seen sporting a cap emblazoned with the word Alpha, seemingly promoting their upcoming film. Also visible in the thumbnail were Samay Raina, comedian Ashish Solanki, and Balraj Ghai. While sharing the update, Samay wrote, “Are we ready to start the show?”
Samay Confirms Another Project With Netflix
Netflix and Samay Raina have confirmed that they are developing a brand-new stand-up special for the streaming platform. Although the project is still under wraps and no release timeline has been shared, viewers can expect the comedian’s trademark blend of witty observations, relatable anecdotes, and punchy humour.
Samay Raina Confirms Controversial Show’s Return
Samay Raina had already announced that India’s Got Latent would return for a second season. He first shared the update during Still Alive, where he spoke about the future of the show and suggested that it would not end at its peak. Since then, the comedian has continued to tease the comeback.
In April, he informed fans through Instagram Stories that India’s Got Latent Season 2 was officially happening. He also shared a registration link for viewers interested in joining the live audience for the upcoming season. Samay later repeated the update during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session. Reacting to questions about the show’s future, he said he was taking a break for the time being but planned to start working on the next season soon.
