Trisha To Marry Soon? Actress's Parents 'Approve' Chandigarh Businessman As Groom

Actress Trisha, known for her hits in the Tamil and Telugu film industries, is reportedly planning to tie the knot soon. If a report by Siasat.com is to be believed, her parents have now approved a new

match for her – a businessman from Chandigarh. While not much details about Trisha’s alleged groom are known as of now, reportedly, the two families have known each other for years.

The report also claimed that Trisha also addressed the wedding buzz recently when she said that she is open to marriage if she finds the right person. However, the actress also added that “the right time hasn’t come yet.”

It should also be noted that Trisha’s parents have not reacted to her wedding rumours as of now.

Trisha was previously engaged to entrepreneur Varun Manian. They exchanged rings in 2015 but called off of their relationship soon after. Back then, reports suggested that differences between Trisha and Varun arose over her decision to continue acting after marriage.

Trisha’s Romance Rumours With Vijay

Over the years, Vijay and Trisha have remained one of Tamil cinema’s most-loved on-screen duos. Their crackling chemistry in hits like Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008) had fans hooked. But after Kuruvi, the two suddenly stopped working together—fueling gossip that their closeness during Ghilli had turned into something more. Rumours even did the rounds that Vijay’s family had asked him to keep his distance from Trisha post-Kuruvi. Both stars, however, denied any romance, insisting they were “just friends.”

Fast forward 15 years, Trisha and Vijay reunited on screen for Leo (2023), sending fans into a frenzy.

All this buzz comes with the reminder that Thalapathy Vijay has long been married to Sangeetha Sornalingam. The couple tied the knot in 1999 and are proud parents to two children—Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha.
