After the massive success of Saiyaara, everyone is eagerly waiting for Ahaan Panday’s next movie. While it is not a secret that the young star will be collaborating with Ali Abbas Zafar for his second
film, not much details are known about it. But now, for the first time, Ahaan has opened up about the project.
Recently, Ahaan Panday attended NDTV’s Indian Of The Year event when he shared that his next with Ali Abbas Zafar is an action film. He also revealed that he is likely to begin the film’s shoot in a couple of months.
“It is an Ali Abbaz Zafar film. I don’t know if I should say too much. All I can say is I will begin shooting very soon, in a couple of months. It is an action film and it’s being led by three people who are under the age of 30. It’s something that has not been done for a very long time. Audience will have to wait for it,” Ahaan said.
I think its the first time #AhaanPanday has spoken about his next film:
-It is going to be an Action film
– Ali Abbas Zafar is the director
– 3 people under the age of 30 are going to take it forward!
– It will go on floors in a couple of months.pic.twitter.com/b0hcazPI8E— Bollywood Talkies (@bolly_talkies) December 19, 2025
Besides Ahaan, the film will also star Sharvari in the lead. Last month, a Pinkvilla report claimed that the Saiyaara star will also undergo an intense 60-day prep for this film. “Ahaan will need to prep in action for over 60 days to perfect the kind of raw action that Ali wants him to do on screen. It is a pure coincidence that the date when he starts action training is his birthday! So, it’s no days off for Ahaan as he will have a working birthday this year,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
Ahaan Panday’s Debut With Saiyaara
Released theatrically on July 18, 2025, Saiyaara opened to great reviews from both critics and audiences. The film follows Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), a passionate musician, and Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), a shy poet. Together, they channel their creativity into making music, slowly mending their emotional scars while discovering love. But their happiness faces an unexpected storm when Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, throwing their future into uncertainty.
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, the film introduced Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in this sweeping tale of everlasting love and catapulted them to become India’s latest Gen Z heartthrobs.
