Dharmendra Deol Health Condition: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted outside Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital late on Sunday evening, where veteran actor Dharmendra is currently admitted. The actor arrived
in his car, drawing attention from fans and paparazzi gathered outside the hospital.
In the video shared by celebrity photographer Pallav Paliwal, Salman Khan was seen arriving at the hospital to check on the 89-year-old legend’s health. The clip shows the Tiger 3 star seated in the passenger seat of his vehicle, looking visibly concerned as he made his way to visit Dharmendra, fondly referred to by fans and the industry as Dharam Ji.
Dharmendra’s Health Condition
Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai late October for what was initially described as a routine check-up. However, reports later suggested that the veteran actor was moved to intensive care after experiencing breathlessness.
Earlier today, Sunny Deol’s team issued an official update stating, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
This statement brought relief to fans across the country, many of whom have taken to social media to send prayers and well-wishes for Dharmendra’s recovery.
Bollywood Shows Support
Salman Khan’s visit follows that of several close friends and family members who have been seen at the hospital over the past few days. Actor and parliamentarian Hema Malini was photographed arriving at Breach Candy earlier, while Sunny Deol also arrived at the hospital, along with his sons.
Salman, who shares a warm rapport with the Deol family, has often spoken fondly of Dharmendra in interviews. Their bond dates back decades, with Salman considering the veteran as both a mentor and family elder.
On The Work Front
The veteran actor, fondly hailed as Bollywood’s He-Man, continues to stand as one of Indian cinema’s most cherished icons — a symbol of timeless grace and unshakable stardom. For over six decades, Dharmendra has effortlessly bridged generations with his magnetic screen presence, blending charm, humility, and quiet strength in a way few actors ever have. From the golden era of Hindi cinema to his tender, memorable appearances in recent years, his legacy has only grown deeper with time.
Audiences last saw Dharmendra in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), where his portrayal of the gentle and poetic Kanwal Lund won hearts across the board. His touching chemistry with Shabana Azmi became one of the film’s most talked-about highlights — a moment that beautifully echoed the emotional honesty and romantic sensitivity that have long defined his artistry.
Looking ahead, Dharmendra is set to appear in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, a war drama inspired by the life of Major Shaitan Singh, and Arbaaz Khan’s Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se, a spiritual successor to the beloved 1989 classic. Both projects mark a new chapter in the career of a man whose passion for storytelling remains as alive as ever.
