Actor Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni, is now on the receiving end after a clip of her speaking about IVF and egg freezing went viral. The actress recently addressed students of IIT Hyderabad and spoke
about how egg freezing is the biggest insurance for a young woman, as it allows them to plan their life on their own terms. This advice of Upasana didn’t sit well with many, who are now calling her out for promoting IVF.
Reacting to the clip shared by Upasana on her social media, a user wrote, “She is basically selling Apollo IVF egg-freezing business by creating a use case of linking financial independence to kids (she ignored the important part, husband as a support system, as if it is a crime or against a relationship).” Another commented, “A polite disagreement, madam. Marriage is a personal choice that one should make based on his or her unique circumstances. It is not a scientific formula that can be applied across the board with uniform results.”

Another one commented, “Because of women like Upasana, girls nowadays don’t understand the importance of marriage at the right age.” “You are just promoting your Apollo fertility centre, that’s it. Sorry @upasanakonidela gaaru, you are misleading the young generations with this message,” another user wrote. Another said, “Dear ladies, get married before 30. These idiots do not know science… Freezing eggs and ovulating is the biggest painful task… Don’t let some random influencer sell dreams.”
