On Instagram, Disha Parmar shared a video with her baby girl, affectionately named Navu, and simply melted many hearts. The mother-daughter duo can be seen dancing together to the song “Hot Potato” by The Wiggles. The playful song, often described as “The Beatles for toddlers”, revolves around food items, including hot potato, cold spaghetti, mashed banana, and more.

Disha Parmar Once Revealed Her Struggles With Breastfeeding

Ever since the birth of her first child, Disha has often opened up about various aspects of her motherhood. In a candid conversation with Neha Dhupia for her podcast, the television actress discussed the early days of breastfeeding. Recalling her struggles, she shared, “I remember in the hospital itself when they were trying to teach the baby how to latch, but it was not happening, and because she would cry so much, it would just make me so uncomfortable that I would get worried and would request them to give her formula since she was hungry. I just didn’t know what was wrong. Even when I went home, she was not able to latch. I think that was the biggest problem, and I didn’t know what to do and how to make that happen.”

She further said, “I did one lactation consultation also, trying to understand what the problem was. But somehow it took a lot of time.” Disha went on to reveal how she wasn’t able to produce enough milk. “Then I think the milk production was also a little issue. I was not maybe producing that much in the beginning.”

The actress is married to singer and music composer Rahul Vaidya. Together, the couple welcomed their daughter, Navya, on September 20, 2023. Since then, constantly shared love-filled glimpses from their parenthood journey, winning many hearts.

On the work front, Disha has reportedly taken a break from acting after Navya’s birth to focus on raising her daughter. The 31-year-old was last seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 alongside Nakuul Mehta, which aired its final episode in August 2023. Before this, she appeared in her husband’s music video, Prem Kahani, released on March 22, 2023.
