Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, November 5, she shared the happy news with her millions of fans and followers. The actress, who had previously drawn attention for her pregnancy after her divorce from ex-husband, also revealed the face of her newborn baby.
The post opened with Lee Si Young cradling her baby in her arms inside what appeared to be a hospital room. She was seen wearing a mask, and the baby was wrapped in a blanket. The following pictures revealed her baby’s face, who was seen sleeping peacefully with some tubes attached, seemingly under observation after birth.

between Si Young and her newborn baby, showing her sleeping while holding her mother’s finger with her tiny hand. A few images showed the baby sleeping peacefully, tucked into a cosy bed. One snap also featured her son, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Cho Seong Hyun, a businessman. The carousel ended with Si Young walking through the hospital corridors after welcoming her baby girl, along with a note in Korean.
In the caption, she referred to her daughter as a “gift” from God and expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’ll think of her as a gift God gave to Mom. I will make sure Shik Shik-ie (baby’s nickname meaning strong) and Jeong Yun are happy for life. Professor Won Hye Seong, thank you so much. I will live without forgetting this gratitude.”

Lee Si Young Had A “Mutual” Divorce From Her Ex-Husband
FYI, Lee Si Young, who is known for her role in Sweet Home, married non-celebrity restaurateur Cho Seong Hyun in September 2017. The latter, who was initially supportive of her acting career, was 9 years older than her. The former couple announced their first pregnancy in 2017 and welcomed their son in January 2018. After eight years of marriage, they decided to part ways.
In March this year, Lee Si Young’s agency released a statement regarding her divorce, stating, “They are in the process of getting a divorce through mutual agreement.” The agency refrained from sharing any further details about the actress’ divorce proceedings, saying, “As it is the actress’s private life, please understand that it is difficult to answer other questions besides this.”
A few months after her divorce, Lee Si Young announced her second pregnancy, revealing that she had implanted an embryo frozen during her marriage, and she chose to carry the child.
