Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles ever attempted in Indian cinema. Produced by Namit Malhotra, the two-part magnum opus has already generated massive anticipation for its scale, cast and global technical team. Now, another major update has added to the excitement around the film.
The makers have roped in internationally acclaimed Hollywood stunt choreographers Guy Norris and Terry Notary to design the large-scale action and movement sequences for the epic.
Hollywood Stunt Choreographers Join Ramayana
Guy Norris, best known for his work on Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and The Suicide Squad, has come on board for Ramayana. He will be joined by Terry Notary, known for his celebrated
work on Planet of the Apes and The Avengers.
Their involvement signals the makers’ ambition to mount Ramayana as a truly global cinematic experience, blending Indian mythology with international action design and visual spectacle.
The film is expected to bring the epic tale to life through grand battle sequences, physical movement, emotional storytelling and large-format theatrical presentation.
Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash And Sunny Deol Lead Ramayana
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi plays Sita. Yash will be seen as Ravana, bringing a commanding presence to one of Indian mythology’s most formidable characters.
Sunny Deol will portray Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey will be seen as Lakshman. The film aims to retell one of India’s greatest epics with scale, emotion and authenticity.

Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with eight-time Oscar-winning DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
The two-part epic will release in IMAX worldwide. Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled to arrive during Diwali 2026, while Ramayana Part 2 will release during Diwali 2027.
With Hollywood action experts now joining the project, Ramayana continues to build itself as one of the most ambitious Indian films in recent years, bringing together mythology, global craft and big-screen spectacle.
