Afsana Khan is an Indian Punjabi playback singer who has given some of the most hit songs, with the recent one being Dhurandhar’s Naal Nachna. She spoke about how she got the song just a week before the Ranveer Singh starrer was set to release on 5 December 2025.
While sharing how she got the song, Khan, in an interview with Filmygya, said, “Maine bola tha, kab chahiye. Mujhe ye gana movie aane ke 6-7 din pehle mila tha. Mere alawa yahan ke ek hit singer ne bhi isse gaya tha. Unhone bola tha ki vo mere aur us singer ke version me se choose karenge ki kaunsa version rakhna hai, aur finally unhone mera version rakha. Mein isse bohot khush hoon.” (I got this song about 6-7 days before the movie release. Apart from me, a hit singer from here had
also sung it. They said they would choose between my version and that singer’s version to decide which one to keep, and finally, they chose my version. I am very happy about it.)
