Rahane scored 72 off 41 deliveries (7 fours, 3 sixes), but it was Sarfaraz Khan who stole the show, smashing 73 off just 22 balls with seven sixes and six fours in another chase exceeding 200.
Chasing 217, Mumbai stayed relentless and despite losing wickets at regular intervals, they stayed on course for a commanding victory, overhauling the target with 11 deliveries to spare, with Rahane anchoring the chase.
Mumbai remained undeterred despite losing Jaiswal (15) after a 41-run opening partnership with Rahane. The latter then joined forces with Sarfaraz Khan, putting on a blistering 111-run stand off just 39 balls for the second wicket.
Sarfaraz fell to Manav Suthar (4-0-23-3) after a whirlwind innings laden with powerful hits down the ground, which saw Mumbai stutter as they lost wickets in heaps.
