Preity Zinta turns 51 today, January 31 and the beloved actress is being showered with love, blessings and heartfelt messages from fans and well-wishers across the globe.

About Armaan and Preity Zinta’s Role

Directed by Honey Irani, Armaan also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Gracy Singh and Randhir Kapoor in pivotal roles. Set in a hospital backdrop, the film revolves around Dr. Akash, played by Anil Kapoor, who struggles to manage the hospital’s finances.

The story takes a dramatic turn when he meets Sonia, portrayed by Preity Zinta, a mentally unstable woman who offers financial help on the condition that Akash marries her.

After taking long breaks from acting, Preity Zinta is now set to return to the big screen with Lahore 1947. The period drama is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan, with Sunny Deol playing a key role.

In 2024, Preity confirmed the completion of the film’s shoot and shared her gratitude in a heartfelt post. She wrote, “It’s a wrap on Lahore 1947 & I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire cast and crew for such an incredible experience… It’s definitely the toughest film I have worked on. Full marks to everyone for all their hard work & patience… Thank you Raj ji, Aamir, Sunny, Shabanaji, Santosh Sivan & AR Rehman from the bottom of my heart. Loads of love always.”

Preity Zinta’s Personal Life and Family

On the personal front, Preity married Gene Goodenough in 2016 in a private ceremony held in Los Angeles. Following the wedding, she relocated to the United States but continues to travel frequently to India for professional commitments.
