Hingoli, Sep 7 (PTI) A woman and two children were killed and five others sustained injuries after a speeding pick-up vehicle collided with an autorickshaw in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred on the Aundha Nagnath-Parbhani Road around 3.45 pm, an official said.
According to police, the autorickshaw was heading towards Parbhani when a pick-up vehicle coming from the opposite direction rammed into it, causing the three-wheeler to veer off the road and overturn.
A three-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy were killed in the impact, while an elderly woman died on her way to the hospital, the official said.
Five people sustained injuries and were rushed to the Parbhani district hospital, where two are in a critical
condition, he said.
Police are in the process of identifying the deceased and injured persons, and further details are awaited, the official said. PTI COR ARU
