New Delhi, Sep 4 (PTI) Three minors were apprehended on Friday for allegedly stabbing a 40-year-old man in north Delhi’s Timarpur area, police said.
The incident took place in Patrakar Basti when the victim, identified as Madan, was sitting under a tree near his house.
The assailants allegedly attacked him with a knife, following which Madan, despite sustaining injuries, tried to flee. He ran for some distance in a bleeding condition before collapsing on the road.
His family members took him to a hospital in an auto-rickshaw, from where he was referred to a higher centre. He later died during treatment, police said.
Police have detained three minors in connection with the killing and launched an investigation, including examination of CCTV footage.
