A professor in the US is winning hearts after giving his students a fun surprise at the end of the semester. A video shared on the Wharton School’s official social media page shows professor Kartik Hosanagar
showing off his perfect dance moves just to entertain his class. The clip has grabbed attention because of how happily he dances and turns his regular classroom into a fun space.
In the video, he grooves on well-known songs like Everybody by Backstreet Boys, Macarena, Soulja Boys and even the Bollywood track Badtameez Dil from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which left his students amazed. Wearing a simple sweater and jeans, he danced with so much energy that the whole classroom was filled with cheers and laughter. Many were surprised to see a professor take part in the end-of-semester tradition with Wharton MBA students.

In the text seen in the Instagram video, the Wharton School mentioned, “POV: Your professor celebrates the end of the semester by dancing for your class.”
In the caption, the school wrote, “Name a better way to end the semester, we’ll wait. Professor Kartik Hosanagar showed off his moves during what is becoming an end-of-semester dance-off tradition with his #WhartonMBA students.”

Who Is Kartik Hosanagar?
Kartik Hosanagar is a well-known professor at The Wharton School, where he teaches Technology, Digital Business and Marketing. He is highly respected in his field and has been named among the top 40 business professors under 40. At Wharton, he has won teaching awards many times for his work with both MBA and undergraduate students.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and a Master’s in Information Systems from BITS Pilani in India. He later earned an MPhil and a PhD in Management Science and Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
