Xbox Game Pass users in the US were informed about the new prices earlier this month and now people in India with an Xbox will also have to shell out more for the digital service from Microsoft. Xbox Game Pass comes in three different versions and all of them have got a price hike with the recent changes.

The new Xbox Game Pass prices in India and other regions were made official via a post which confirms the significant hike that people will have to bear to get the next Game Pass plan. You have the Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential tier plans that will cost more for these gamers and here are the details: 

• Game Pass Ultimate – Rs 1,389 per month (from Rs 829 per month)
• Game Pass Premium – Rs 699 per month (from Rs 619 per month)
• Game Pass Essential – Rs 499 per month (Rs 349 per month)
• PC Game Pass – Rs 939 per month (Rs 449 per month)

With these Game Pass plans, Xbox users get up to 400 game titles that you can play across Xbox, PC, or even the cloud. They also get the option of one game release for 75 days. And other benefits like Xbox cloud stream in 1440p quality, rewards and support for online multiplayer. 

Microsoft has made a big bet by hiking the Xbox Game Pass prices in the US and markets like India.

However, the company’s price changes also come with the appeal of more benefits, access to latest gaming titles and more Xbox rewards that keeps them hooked to the service. The company clearly feels that having the new Essential and Premium tiers will allow more people to invest in the service and get themselves more games than usual.
